We are trying to organise a Team Manager's Training Course in SLIGO, normally these course are run in other venues which require a long drive! The rules for running and even attending galas are evolving and the presence of more trained personnel/parents is becoming a more necessary requirement. We are looking for expressions of interest from parents on who would attend. Please e-mail the Secretary for more information.
Land-training with our new Land Coach Garry O'Hehir will commence from 10th October.
We would ask that the age categories are respected - they are purposeful to the conducive dynamic of each group so that the objectives of Land training can be maximised.

Course bookings can be made through Swim Ireland and the course cost is €25.
The Club will be holding the annual Parent and Head Coach information evening session. This is an important event at which the Club season plan will be presented to the parents/guardians. It is also an opportunity for you to ask our Head Coach any questions you may have about training and the Club. It is vital that we have many parents as possible for each date of these meetings:
These meetings will start promptly and finish on time as the room is booked by other organisations.

They will be looking at how they can support the parent-athlete relationship through creative activities and by giving both the parent and the athlete space to work together.
