Katie Maher

Katie Maher is a SI level 2 coach and national official with Swim Ireland.  Katie joined the club's coaching team over five years ago and focusses mainly on the junior swimmers.

She qualified as a National Referee in 2017, having trained as a turn judge, stroke judge and national starter prior to this position.

Katie is interested in being trained to the highest standards and recently attended her first LEN, European Swimming League Officials Seminar in Belfast. This is the European governing body for aquatic sports affiliated to FINA.

Katie is also Swim Ireland 's Connacht Secretary from whom we get regular updates on what's happening in the region and nationally.
